Del Charro’s Happy Hour: A Thanks to Santa Fe 2025
Del Charro Happy Hour flyer 2025

Del Charro, the beloved saloon inside Inn of the Governors, is thanking locals!  To celebrate the saloon’s loyal customers and show appreciation for the community, Del Charro has introduced a daily happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. featuring $2 off all beers and appetizers, plus complimentary chips and salsa through December 31, 2025.

General Manager Sam Gerberding shared his gratitude with the community, saying, “Thank you for your incredible patience while we’ve been working to improve our space, and for the many years of trusting us as your favorite gathering spot.”

The new happy hour, he said, is a simple way to celebrate and thank Santa Fe for its continued support.

About Del Charro: A Santa Fe Tradition

Located just steps from the plaza, Del Charro is part of the Inn of the Governors, one of Santa Fe’s most enduring hotels. The bar has long been a gathering place for locals and visitors, known for its comfortable interior and easygoing charm. Your favorite dishes and drinks are still on the menu!

Known for what it calls “stimulating libations and light bar food,” Del Charro keeps things simple: good food, good drinks, and good prices. Open late for those winding down after work or meeting friends after an evening event, it has earned a loyal following and frequent recognition in the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Best of Santa Fe” awards, often in categories such as Best Bar, Best Margarita, and Best Happy Hour.

The Celebration: Happy Hour Details

Through the end of 2025, guests can enjoy Del Charro’s daily happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. The special includes:

  • $2 off all beers
  • $2 off all appetizers
  • Free chips and salsa for all guests

The happy hour reflects Del Charro’s appreciation for its guests, inviting them to pause the afternoon to enjoy a drink, share an appetizer, or choose something from the full menu.

Why Locals Keep Coming Back

Del Charro’s appeal has always been its consistency. The staff is known for genuine hospitality, and the food remains straightforward and satisfying. The recent renovation refined that familiar charm without changing what people value most.

Locals often mention the green chile cheeseburger and house margarita as reasons they return, but it’s also the reliable and inviting atmosphere that keeps them coming back.

What to Try

The menu remains focused on comfort and simplicity. A few favorites stand out:

  • New Mexican Green Chile Cheeseburger fresh ground beef from local ranches with roasted green chile and cheddar.
  • Blue Corn Chicken Enchiladas topped with red or green chile sauce and melted cheddar and jack cheese, served with Spanish rice and refried beans.
