Stuff the Bus Santa Fe 2025: Holiday Food Drive

Stuff the Bus Santa Fe 2025 is a holiday food drive dedicated to helping families and individuals who lack fresh and nutritious food.

From December 1 – 5, 2025, presenting sponsor State Employees Credit Union, Santa Fe Mazda, Hutton Broadcasting, Albertsons Market, and Kitchen Angels invite the community to donate selected food items and funds at Albertsons on Zafarano.

Together, we can make the season brighter for those who need it most. This  food drive  culminates with the December 5 collection event where two buses will be stuffed with donations and delivered to Kitchen Angels.

What Is Stuff the Bus Santa Fe?

Stuff the Bus is a community-wide food drive that takes place each holiday season. In Santa Fe, the campaign began in 2023 and has quickly become a tradition of generosity.

This year’s drive supports Kitchen Angels, a local nonprofit founded in 1992 that prepares and delivers free, nutritious meals to Northern New Mexicans who are homebound and facing life challenging illnesses and medical conditions.

With help from community partners, sponsors, and donors, Stuff the Bus brings neighbors together to fight hunger.

Why Santa Fe Families Need Your Support

Food insecurity affects thousands of people in Northern New Mexico. For homebound individuals living with serious health challenges, accessing nutritious food can be especially difficult.

Kitchen Angels meets this need by delivering nutritious meals directly to clients’ homes. They deliver fresh meals Monday through Friday and frozen meals for the weekend.

By supporting Stuff the Bus, you’re helping Kitchen Angels continue this essential, needed service and remind our homebound neighbors they are not forgotten.

Impact of Stuff the Bus Over the Years

For over 20 years, Hutton Broadcasting’s radio stations in Farmington, Cortez, and Durango have hosted Stuff the Bus campaigns, collecting thousands of pounds of food for local food charities.

Inspired by their success, the Santa Fe team launched its own version in 2023, collecting more than 1,400 pounds of food and hundreds of dollars in donations during its first year.

Each year builds on this momentum. In 2025, with the community’s support, Stuff the Bus will deliver an even greater impact by helping Kitchen Angels provide nutritious meals to homebound neighbors.
